Around IFSTAL’s five collaborating institutions, students from a broad range of disciplines are preparing to sharpen their food systems skills as the IFSTAL teaching programme welcomes students for the eighth year.
The 2022/23 year launches with an event on 19 October 2022, when past students and IFSTAL collaborators will share their experiences and thoughts on the value of participating in the free teaching programme.
Creating systems thinkers
Since its launch in 2015, IFSTAL has equipped thousands of postgraduates and professionals with the skills to be confident communicators and critical thinkers.
Stemming from the teaching programme, IFSTAL in Practice brings together course alumni who wish to be part of a network of food systems thinkers. IFSTAL in Practice holds regular events, a mentoring programme and workshops allowing former students to keep in touch with the programme and its current and past participants.
Many IFSTAL alumni have gone on to work in food-related careers around the world. They are bringing their skills to a wide range of organisations, such as food manufacturers, NGOs and governmental departments.
Sign up for the launch
Students from IFSTAL’s collaborating institutions who are not already signed up for the launch event should contact the Programme Coordinator, Roger Sykes.
